What is Forest Camp?
Forest Camp is an outdoor adventure program for children, designed to grow leadership, adaptability, and self-esteem through a variety of activities in nature.What age group does the camp serve?
The camp is for kids ages 6–12 in the Forest Campers track and 13–15 in the Leadership Development track.What are the camp hours?
The camp runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.How long is the summer program?
The full summer program lasts eight weeks, from June 22 to August 14, 2026.What modules are included?
Four modules across the summer: Nature Skills, Emergency Skills, Survival Skills, and Navigation Skills. Each module is two weeks long.Which topics are covered?
Across the eight weeks: personal preparedness, moving in the wilderness, first aid + go bag, search and rescue, cordage and combustion, primitive cooking, reading nature's signs, and remote guiding.Do you recommend that campers stay all eight weeks?
We recommend taking full modules (two weeks each) so the skills stick. Many families enroll in two or three modules across the summer.Is there a leadership development track? What do they learn?
Yes — kids 13–15 can become Counselors-in-Training. They reinforce the same skills as the Forest Campers track but lead by example, take on responsibility, and learn how to guide younger campers.Can I pay by week or only by full module?
We recommend taking modules in full so the kids master the skills. We do accommodate single-week bookings on request.Where do the activities take place?

Yes — campers observe endemic wildlife, interact with monkeys, and feed iguanas as part of the program.What are the camp's nutritional standards?
We follow Stanford University's 2022 child nutrition and cooking standards. The kitchen leans on home-cooked, whole foods. Sodas and fried foods are not on the menu.What kind of team does Forest Camp have?
Our team is trained in neuro-education, mountain and altitude sports, wilderness first aid, and forest skills. Diverse and passionate.How does the camp prioritize fun and exploration?
Play is the curriculum's engine. Ludic activities in natural settings let learning happen effortlessly and let kids build confidence on their own terms.What's the educational focus?

Yes. Our staff is trained in wilderness first aid. Safety protocols are baked into every activity. An ambulance and a doctor are on-site during all operating hours.How do parents register?
